We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. MEET KIERSTEN

Kiersten is a 5 YR old, 52 lb, spayed female, American Bulldog Mix. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX. She can be transported to an approved adopter.

Your new cuddle buddy Kiersten would be the perfect addition to any home. She loves to play with both dogs and humans and still gets the zoomies in the evening. She's a happy girl who sticks by her people and aims to please. She enjoys walks and still has lots of pep in her step. She's medium energy and gets two walks a day and some play time. She loves to play tug or fetch! Once she knows you're her person, this girl melts into you and is the sweetest thing.

When initially meeting Kiersten, she may be a bit shy but one pet from you and she'll be your new best friend. Her sweet, playful, and obedient demeanor make her an excellent dog for new or experienced owners alike. She grows very attached and loves her people. We believe she'd make an excellent dog for a family with older kids as she gets happy bursts of energy that may not be suited for younger kids. She has been around children ages 5-13 yrs and did well with them. Sometimes, she can be a bit mouthy when playing but stops when corrected.

Kiersten loves other dogs. She loves to play hard but is good at adapting to the play style of the other dogs and has no issues picking up on ques. She's generally very sweet and submissive with both dogs and humans. She has played with dogs both big and small. When she sees other dogs she gets very happy and excited and wants to say "HI!" but if you need to redirect her from them on walks, she's happy to keep walking with you. We do not know how she is with cats at this time, but think she might have a good temperament to be around one.

Sweetie Kiersten is the ideal good girl. She takes direction very well and is not destructive in the house. Her foster family is able to leave her in the home uncrated with no issues. This girl is totally housebroken! She's currently not crate trained, but that has not appeared necessary due to her excellent behavior. We have also not observed any food aggression issues with her.

The ideal home for Kiersten is one where she gets to play and get lots of love and cuddles from her humans. She'd do wonderfully in a home with other dogs and would love to join a loving family where she can be loved forever.
