Meet Khloe
ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt.
// // Meet Khloe! Khloe is a delightful 11+ month-old Cairn Terrier mix, currently weighing about 13 lbs. She is expected to gain another 7 lbs. of pure muscle. True to her breed, Khloe is smart, alert, brave, curious, and very physical-she could even be a circus dog! Khloe is playful and energetic. She loves chewy and squeaky toys and can keep herself entertained as long as you're nearby. She is loyal and affectionate and shadows her foster throughout the day and can be somewhat possessive, especially around other dogs. At 11 months old, she's still very much a puppy, full of energy and curiosity. Khloe is a quick learner, she is treat-motivated, making training a breeze. She has already learned to sit, lay, fetch, and retrieve. Khloe barks to alert her foster but stops once she identifies the source of the noise. She would do best with an active individual or family with older children and should be supervised around the elderly. She would also do best around dogs her age and seems indifferent to cats. Her adoption fee is $350. A refundable training deposit of $100 will be also due upon adoption. Training must be provided in a timely fashion to ensure our pups become the best canine citizens. The training deposit will be refundable within 3 months of the adoption date.
All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.
Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,
vaccinations, medical treatments,
