This sweet boy spent his first two years as a free-range dog in California before embarking on a new chapter in the Pacific Northwest. After extensive training, Kenzo has become a "turn-key" dog, as his foster parents lovingly describe him.

Kenzo's recall is phenomenal-he responds to both his name and the vibration mode on his collar. His foster family enjoys taking him off-leash on quiet local logging roads, where he is an absolute joy to walk and run with.

Inside the house, Kenzo transforms into a cuddle bug. If you're open to a 65-pound lap dog, Kenzo is your guy!

This handsome boy thrives on outdoor adventures and would love an active family to share his passion for hiking, running, and exploring. His zoomies are a sight to behold, and while he enjoys staying active, he's equally happy to relax by your side. Oh and let's not forget Kenzo knows how to run himself! He has been trained to run on a treadmill!

Kenzo is best suited for a home without small dogs or cats due to his play style. While he has made great progress with the outdoor cats at his foster home, he's still learning.
He does experience some anxiety when left alone in the house or in his crate. With patience and continued training, this is something that can improve.
