Update: March 26th   Kenzie is a sweet girl that gets along well with dogs of any size and would love to have a brother or sister of a similar size to play with in her new home. This little girl is a hoot as she runs around each morning playing with toys, throwing them in the air, dragging herself across the floor and rolling around. After spending the first four years of her life in a small cage in a puppy mill, she is enjoying the freedom of running around free, in a backyard and hopes that she will have one in her new home. Because she is not used to all the noises of the outside world, she can be vocal and would therefore, not suit apartment living. Kenzie has bonded with her foster Mum and Dad but is still nervous with strangers. She needs someone who will be patient and continue to socialize her and teach her that people are friendly. She is more comfortable with women than men. When Kenzie arrived her coat was very thin but it is becoming thicker as a Pomeranians coat should be. It is very soft and she loves to lay beside you on the sofa while you pet her. Do you have a spot in your home and heart for this little girl?
Update: February 16th:Â Â Â Kenzie has made great progress since joining our family. She is quite comfortable with her foster Mum and definitely prefers the company of women. Men still seem to make her nervous.
Kenzie is making strides with her housetraining. I think this little girl is a smart cookie. She very quickly learned the command Sit and Down. Check out her blog for a video clip.
Day 1 – started to wag her tail after just a few hours, Day 2 – approached me for a sniff and allowed me to pet her, Day 3 – willing came out of her x-pen in the morning, started to follow me around the house, Day 4 – started to play with her four-legged foster brothers & sister in the back yard. Speaking of four-legged siblings, Kenzie gets along well with them and has shown some interest in the cat. Check out her blog to follow her progress. It is like watching a bud bloom into a gorgeous flower.
Kenzie arrived just a few days ago from Ohio. She is from a puppy mill and therefore, has not been socialized with people or had the chance to experience the joys of life regularly afforded to dogs her age. She is a very pretty girl and Very sweet. Kenzie is shy and nervous of loud and sudden noises and needs to work on her house training. However, I think this little doll will adjust quickly to her new surroundings. It is a true joy to greet her each morning and to share in her new experiences. She seems to grow, change and learn something new every day!
