Meet Kendra

Kendra is an 8-9 year old Akita mix that came to us in July when another rescue lost their founder. She needs to be an only dog, so she has spent the last few years in boarding. Kendra has arthritis due to her older age, but it is manageable with daily pain medication. Boarding is no place for a dog to spend their golden years and we would like to find Kendra a home where she can grow old and spend the rest of her life. She has become a favorite of the volunteers that have met her. Kendra was given a day at the spa recently. She was the perfect lady, rode well in the car, and deserves a soft place.
