Meet Kashmere
Meet Kashmere!
Kashmere is an absolute cuddle bug! This sweet, affectionate, and loving girl is estimated to be a 1 year-2 months old, American Staffordshire Terrier mix. At 43 pounds, she’s house-trained, crate-trained, and LOVES to snuggle with her people. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will curl up next to you after a fun day of play, Kash is your girl.
This lovely girl is also very dog friendly. She matches the energy of her foster fur-brothers perfectly, whether they’re up for a game of chase or a relaxing nap. Their only complaint is that she won’t play tug with them; she’s much too polite to “steal” a toy from her friends.
Her playful, loving spirit is unstoppable! Kash is a truly resilient girl; we were told that as a pup, Kashmere suffered a gunshot wound to her leg. X-rays taken following her rescue confirmed that she had been shot in her front left leg. Since the injury went unaddressed, her leg healed with the shrapnel inside, and veterinarian attention will now only exacerbate the previous injury. Because of this, she walks with a slight limp in the mornings which fades as the day progresses. This sweet girl has been through more than anyone should ever have to endure, yet her gentle spirit persists and she doesn’t let it slow her down – she still plays and runs with the best of them.
Kashmere is ready to bring joy, love, and lots of snuggles to a home that can match her sweet and resilient personality. Could that be you?
