Karma Giant Schnauzer & German Shepherd Dog Mix San Diego, CA

Karma is a sweetest girl, and a very lucky snag for anyone looking to add some love and joy to their lives. This precious soul was picked up as a stray with another smaller female dog that looked a lot like her, and both were severely matted in their coat and required a full shave down. (So she CAN grow a fabulous long coat, but she is currently sporting a puppy cut that renders her ULTRA soft, and no shed.)

You'd never imagine what Karma looks like when her coat is grown out, but it's an option if you're into a shaggy dog - and committed to regular grooming! Karma is calm, gentle, doesn't jump on you, stays pretty aloof/neutral with most dogs in the play yard, and has moments of zoomies and silliness. Karma settles beautifully in her kennel when it's time to be alone, and walks easily on leash.

Karma loves to cuddle, and has a signature move where she rests her head in your lap and waits patiently for scratches. She's a good car traveler, and can be shy when she first meets a new human friend, but treats are a great bridge to boost her confidence. Sometimes a little unsure or startled by the big wide world - Karma recovers quickly and is up for a challenge. From the shelter, Karma is estimated to be 5-6 years old, and a Sheep Dog Mix, but we ran her DNA and have provided the results here.

Fully trained for on and off leash obedience, spayed, up to date on vaccines, bloodwork screenings completed and provided, and all tools for continuing with her skills will go home with Karma.

Karma will be ready to go home February 17/18, and has an adoption fee of $1500 that includes our signature training sessions and lifetime behavior support.
