Meet Kara
Kara is a 2-year-old. 28lb German Shorthaired Pointer, Dachshund mix.
Kara has done an amazing job raising her puppies, but now she's looking for a home of her own. Kara gets along with anyone and everyone and would do great in any home. She has never met a stranger and loves to play. Kara can be a little bit of an escape artist, so she would do best with a home with a tall fence that she can't get out of. She would thrive with a family who can keep Kara busy and play with her, and even in a home with other dogs who love to play, too, but she does prefer same size or smaller dogs. She isn't a fan of being crated, but not to worry, she's completely housebroken and can be left out of a crate with no problem. Not only is Kara housebroken but she's leash trained, fully vetted, and ready to complete your home. If you think you can give Kara the life she deserves, please apply online at www.crisisdogsnc.org.
Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application. As part of our commitment to responsible adoption practices, we require excellent veterinarian references and conduct virtual home visits. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We provide transportation by both land and air whenever feasible. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!
