Kano American Staffordshire Terrier & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Petersburg, VA

This sweetie is named Kano he was owner surrendered today. His owners say he is good with other dogs and children of all ages and he is very playful.

He is a male, 2 years old, 50lbs pit mix of some sort?

Really sweet bully, very strong but otherwise really good on a leash and sociable with people and other animals.

If you find someone you like you have to apply first to see if you will get approved. If you are approved then we can set up an appointment for you to come meet the animal of your choice. (Appointments can be made 7 days a week between 7am and 5pm) The shelter is still CLOSED to the public so we have to do the meets outside in the parking lot.

We do not have an adoption fee or an application fee. Animals do have to sterilized and vaccinated before they leave if they havent been already! Its the law if you adopt from a municiple shelter. The veterinarian you choose will get your money. Not us.

Applications are on our petfinder page (link above). If you decide to send one please attach a photo copy of your ID/DL. We cannot process it until we have that. The process can take anywhere from 2-8 days.
