Kanna German Shepherd Dog & Great Dane Mix Bakersfield, CA

Oh this girl! We met Kanna and her brother before she entered the shelter. She and her brother were found as street strays and Kanna had an injured leg. They were taken to the shelter where the brother immediately found a home but Kanna was deemed 'RESCUE' only because of her injury. After looking at her sad face in the shelter notifications we decided to help her. We are so happy we did.... no other rescue showed interest and she was so worth saving! She has the sweetest demeanor. Appropriately playful (even with her cast) gentle, and slightly curious. She is cat friendly, dog friendly and needless to say people (very)friendly. Her injuries are not serious and required no surgery just time to crate and heal. She may have a slight imperfection to her leg but it will be just like all of her other three legs when it comes to usefulness. Kanna will need to heal completely before she can be spayed but we still want her to find her forever home while she is this adorable puppy. Take a look at that face! We can't resist it, can you? Kanna's adoption fee is $250. We use the fee to rescue one more dog. Kanna is current on vaccines, microchipped and will be spayed when we get the vet clearance... in the mean time she is sitting pretty waiting for you!
