Meet Mr. Kane, your very own adorable 40-pound mini hippo in search of his forever home! At around 9 months old (according to the shelter), Kane is full of puppy energy and charm. But dont worryhes already potty trained and kennel trained, with only a few accidents when he was under the weather.

Kane is a fan of all the best things in life: food, tug-of-war, and, of course, cuddles! Being a young pup, hes still learning the ropes and can be a bit of a playful nibbler. Hes also a bit of a chewer, so when youre out, hes safest (and your furniture is too!) in his kennel.

Though Kane is small, hes got some muscle! Hes great with kids but would do best in a home with little ones who are sturdy enough to keep up with him. Bath time? Lets just say he tolerates itbut if he thinks he can escape, hell give it a try!

While Kane hasnt been cat-tested (were a cat-free home), hes a big fan of other dogs. His absolute favorite thing? Getting all the attention and forehead kisses, which make his face light up with the biggest, happiest smile!
