Meet Kai
Kai came to us as part of a cruelty investigation by ACPD and ACPO. He came to us starved, body score 1/9. He had a loving home for much of his life but fell on hard times when his owner died. Fortunately, with police intervention, he was rescued and came to our shelter for care and re-homing.
He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and fully vaccinated now. Kai is a good boy. Easy to be around, however, he is dog selective, so we recommend that he be the only dog in the home. We also recommend a home with no small children. Kai is pretty good on a leash and knows basic commands.
