SATURDAY, JAN. 25, from 12-3 PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT at PETSMART in Olathe (119th & Strang Line) with Heart of America Humane Society. We’ll have several dogs there looking for homes!

JULIUS is an adorable mini hippo! Julius is such a silly, goofy boy. He just wants to please his people and make them as happy as can be. Julius loves going for his walks with the volunteers. He loves to take his time and explore. His absolute favorite thing to do is sit and watch the trains go by. He could watch them for hours. He loves attention and is such an affectionate guy. He would make an amazing cuddle buddy.
He is 3 years old and he's a short and stocky 65 lbs. He would need to meet any potential dog siblings.
Julius is a big ham, and he's looking for a family to give him lots of attention and love!
ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
