Meet Joy
Joy is incredibly smart! She picks up new tricks rapidly and really enjoys training sessions. She is very focused and eager to learn - she already knows her name, sit, stand, down, spin, and touch. Someone who enjoys training dogs will be great for Joy.
She really enjoys time with her brother and other dogs, and truly finds comfort with a canine companion. She is a typical puppy who is playful, yet snuggly. Joy just wants to follow you around and fall asleep with her head in your lap. She's very affectionate with her foster parents and their friends so is very people-social.
She's getting very good at potty-training and knows to go to the backdoor to signal that she wants to be let out! She is still working on leash manners. Joy crate-trained, good with other dogs, and has experience with a cat in her previous foster home. Her foster describes her as a sweet, smart girl who deserves the best home!
Joy really prefers a home with another dog. She could do well with someone who works from home, has a social circle with other animals, and is committed to training, socialization, and working through a little bit of separation anxiety.
We heavily focus on chemistry and connection and not physical appearance or gender. During the meet and greet, you will spend time with Joy to see if it is a good fit. If you have a dog at home, your dog will accompany you and lead the selection process. Joy has 5 siblings who are also available for adoption.
Adoption is $325, which includes spay/neuter at our vet when age appropriate, vaccines to date of adoption, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health.
