Meet Josiah

Male, ~7 mos old, ~38 lbs

Personality: easygoing, goofy/funny, calm, affectionate, snuggler, gentle, patient, and playful.

Meet the gentle puppy Josiah! This snugglebug loves to sit on your lap all day -- when he's not, he's rolling down every hill he can find. His foster says he's pretty calm for his young age!

During the day he loves to go on walks, solve his food puzzles, and chew on his favorite toys. He'll go on the occasional run with you too, just happy to go along for the ride!

Josiah is playful but always gentle -- he loves the smaller foster humans in the home and is incredibly patient with them. He gets along well with other dogs and bigger humans, always happy to meet everyone! When he's not snuggling next to someone, he's practicing his potty training and learning the word "sit".

Are you ready for a sweet dog who loves everyone he meets? Apply today to meet Josiah!

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).

Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.

Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
