Jora - Busy Bee Pit Bull Terrier Mix Washington, IA

Jora is a Pit mix female who is about 4 years old. She does fine with other dogs with a proper introduction. She gets along with cats, but she can be a little rough with them.

Jora has “Good Girl” written all over her face. She is happy and fun, the kind of friend that makes you smile when you’re with her.
She takes loving guidance from people and clear signals from other pets really well. She loves to learn and get along.

Per her foster mom:
This sweet girl loves to nap on the couch and ride in the car. She enjoys her trips to the dog park and long walks where she can sniff all the smells. She loves treats! Jora is getting used to cats and can now be close to them without over-the-top interest. She is selective about her dog friends and always needs a proper introduction. She is continuing to work on manners and leash skills and is a happy and playful girl.

This doggy is described as a 'Busy Bee'. I’m a naturally playful, curious, and trusting canine. Take me for a big walk every day; give me something to do. After my job’s done, I’ll curl up in front of the fire with you in the evenings. (Externally motivated)

All our dogs have been spayed or neutered or arrangements will be made if currently too young. They will be treated for fleas, bathed, vaccinated against distemper/parvo, treated against general parasites, and if of age, tested for heart worms and vaccinated against rabies. If underage for these things at the time of adoption, they are to be done at the adopter’s cost when the dog becomes of age. They will be microchipped at the time of adoption.
