Jolene Basset Hound & Labrador Retriever Mix Rochester, NY

JOLENE is a sweetheart of a pup - a beautiful brindle coat and a little bit of a low-rider in her stance, she looks to be a Bassett labby type mix and is very chill. She's happy to just relax and snuggle a lot of the time - either in her doggy bed or next to you on the couch. She's about 45 lbs and would love to keep you company at the end of the day watching tv. She's good with other dogs and with cats. Jolene is one of the few elite dogs we've got that we'd consider adopting out to homes with kids under 5. She's being treated for heartworm and will be retested - the rescue will cover treatment if any more happens to be needed for her to test negative.

Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip after 6 months of age at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue.

We do most application processing virtually and dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available.

PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada - sorry!)
