Meet JoJo, the adorable one-year-old pup who weighs a healthy 42 pounds. JoJo was once a running stray who caught the attention of shelter staff with her charming personality. She is a versatile companion who can either be a lively playmate or a snuggly lap dog, depending on the situation. JoJo has a natural affinity for children and has interacted well with them at the shelter. Her quirky personality is a constant source of amusement for the staff, who find her to be an endearing and delightful character. Although JoJo is a clever dog, she lacks basic training and manners, which will require some work from her future family. JoJo loves to go on long walks and run around in play areas. She is an active dog who loves to play with her toys and has an inexhaustible supply of energy. JoJo has already mastered the "sit" command and is working on sitting on her bed and waiting for food. She is up to date with all her vaccinations.

Thank you for looking at dogs from the Guernsey County Dog Warden Dept. We are a county run facility in Cambridge, OH, we are NOT a no kill shelter! Unfortunately, we must euthanize due to illness or aggression. Adoption fees are $165 for dogs under 5 years old, $100 for dogs over 5 years old and $200 for cell dogs. Adoption fees include, Vaccine (dhpp), Bordetella, Microchip, Heartworm and Lyme testing, Rabies vaccine, Spay/Neuter and a dog license. Dogs will be required to be spayed/neutered before leaving shelter, if not an appointment will be scheduled before leaving the shelter. Please talk to shelter staff for more information.
We only accept cash. We cannot take checks, debit or credit cards. You may also call the shelter: Office hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm. Shelter public hours for visitation are Tuesday-Saturday 11am-4pm. Applications can be emailed or faxed if requested. If coming from out of town, please call ahead to make sure the dog is still available. Approved rescues also welcome!!!!
