Johnny is a 2.5-year-old, neutered male Husky weighing 56 pounds. He’s currently in a foster home located in SAN ANTONIO, TX, but don’t worry—he can transport out of state once an adopter is approved!

Johnny is a social butterfly with other dogs and enjoys enthusiastic play sessions with his canine pals. While he does best with dogs his size or larger (he’s a bit too much for tiny friends), he’s polite and calm when passing other dogs on leash. At home, he’s fully housebroken and a dream in his crate, making him a breeze to live with. He even has perfect table manners—no issues when treats or meals are shared with other dogs!

Johnny loves meeting new people and is always ready to greet you with an enthusiastic Husky “hello.” True to his breed, he’s got a playful, independent streak and a quirky personality. He’s not the kind of dog who will demand cuddles all day, but his happy energy and loyal spirit will warm your heart. He also has a chatty side and loves to "talk" when it’s mealtime or playtime—it’s his unique way of saying he loves life!

While Johnny has had positive interactions with kids as young as 6, he’s best suited for a family that understands his lively play style and respects animal boundaries. He’s not a fan of cats but would love an active home where he can thrive as the center of attention. Johnny enjoys short bursts of running outside (10-15 minutes of backyard zoomies is his jam!) and then happily settles indoors, where he can relax and enjoy his surroundings.
