Meet Johnny
I was found with Junie and it is believed that we were dumped. We waited in the same spot for a week for our people to return, but that didn't happen. We were getting thin and were really scared. We needed to be trapped so we could get the help we needed. After being trapped, things really started to look up.
Our Foster Mom is learning a little more about us each day. She said she has learned that I like other dogs and that I love to play. I really enjoy finding things to fetch even if they are not my toys and exploring the yard. That's where the training and patience comes in.
I do love to be by my people, butt scratches and walks. A large yard for me to gallop around would be fantastic along with a lot of stuffed and chew toys.
Once I'm familiar with my boundaries, I'm good off leash. Typically, I come running when called.
My Foster Mom said I'm kennel trained and I just walk in when told to " kennel up". She is also saying that when I'm adopted, you should plan to use a kennel for me until I can be trusted. I guess I like to chew things up and make a mess. Apparently, I'm a big boy, but act like a puppy.
I know Junie and I were found together, but I'm cool if we don't live together forever. I think my time with her has been great, but I feel it's time to find a home where they will give me a lot of love and attention.
