Hello, my name is Joey and I am about 2 yrs old with blackish brown with white on my chest. I am a pitty mix that 19 inches tall and weigh 55 lbs. If you've had a ruff day, I'm here to make you feel better.

I am a very sweet young guy, that loves attention and chew bones and like to run. So if you would like a running partner, I just may be your guy. I do good with other dogs and I live with 5 cats. I admit I bark at the them. I do not bother the chickens, but I do bark at horses through the fence. Since I've been at my care takers home, nobody knows how I am with children (as there are none), nor do they know if I am house trained as I am an outside boy only. I truly want to be an inside guy and someone's companion or family member. I do okay in a crate and I am working on leash training. I also have no reaction to fire works.

So, knowing all this about me, would you like to have me as companion and give me a loving forever home and willing to teach me anything I need to know, that I do not know? An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
