Breed:  Small Flat-coated Retriever mix

Approximate Age: 1-2 year old

Approximate Weight: 40-45 lbs

Currently Living at:  DC area foster home!

This handsome, sweet boy is Joe, he is a small 1-2 year old, Flat-coated Retreiver  mix who weighs approximately 40-45 lbs. Joe is a sweetheart, who is past his puppyhood and looking for a home where is can cuddle with his people and get the attention he so deserves.  He is very friendly, and good with other dogs (if needed, he can be cat tested).  Joe's foster Mom says he is very gentle, good with children and people of all ages.  He seems to be housetrained and crate trained.  He is over all, just  very well behaved and relaxed.  Sadly, Joe found himself in an overcrowded, high-kill shelter where dogs are routinely euthanized because of lack of space.  Lucky Dog rescued Joe as his time was running out and brought him to the Washington, DC area on January 29, 2011. Lucky Dog would love to help this sweet boy find a home, please consider adopting or sponsoring Joe! 

Joe seems to be houstrained and crate trained in his foster home, but some dogs need a refresher on housetraining when they go to a new home.
