Jimmy Greyhound & Hound Mix Scituate, MA

Jimmy, who we swear is not part seal, is a very sweet mixed guy. Guessed to be about 3-years-old, Jimmy is high energy but also loving and kind. He loves his time outside and long walks but also just enjoys human attention.

Jimmy is a lean and healthy weight at 57 pounds. He loves humans and loves treats more! Jimmy is also very friendly and playful with other dogs but can be a bit, um, humpy in his play.

We don't know much about his past but this hound-ish guy is relatively quiet. He has a couple bad manners like jumping when excited, but it is all in good fun. As mentioned, he loves his treats and can take them a bit hard.

Jimmy keeps a clean kennel, which indicates he is house broken!

This guy is super lovable and really just an overall great dog.

We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, Saturdays, and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need.

Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
