Jed - adopted! Border Collie Renner, SD

Jed is a happy, sweet, and just a little bit mischievous Border Collie puppy born in mid-November 2023. Currently 15#, we think he will mature around 40-45#. Jed's zest for life is evident in his love for tugging, spirited play with his foster canine siblings, and an eagerness to be part of every family activity. Whether it's exploring the world, lounging in the sun, or joining the pack for a relaxing movie night, or he is all in. Jed has a great off switch after a fulfilling day of learning and doing.

Potty training is a breeze for Jed, and he's already a pro at sleeping through the night in his crate. Making steady progress with leash walking, promises to be a well-behaved walking buddy in no time.

Jed's ideal family is an active one that wants to include him in every adventure. He would love to land in a sport home: he shows an aptitude for working with his person in a team setting like agility or herding. A family that will give him a life of new adventure through road trips, camping and the like would also be right up his alley.

Jed’s friendly disposition bodes well for families with school-aged kids. A canine sibling would be the cherry on top for Jed, as he's shown a preference for the company of other dogs. A herding breed-experienced family is preferred, so they can appreciate and nurture his natural instincts.

As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Our puppy adoption fee is $500 + MN sales tax. Puppies are microchipped and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. Jed will be neutered at approximately 6 months of age. The cost of this procedure is included in his adoption fee.
