Jax Mixed Breed Washington, DC

Jax so needs a family. He is just a real sweet fella who lost his home when his beloved owner could no longer care for him. Poor Jax was heartbroken by this change but slowly, he's shaking off the sadness and is now a waggy tailed darling who is so eager to engage. He is one of those leaning type dogs that really gets into his pettings. He loves to be loved! And he can be flirty so get ready to be completely charmed. Jax would love to be saved soon and to be part of a family. He is loyal and loving plus he enjoys being active.

He recently went on a field trip with a volunteer, and they shared, "He was great with kids, other dogs, and he was fine in the car. He loved cuddles and walks. He was good on the leash just needs a little training for pulling. He loves attention. We sat at a park, and he laid down and was so well behaved."
We had a wonderful Field Trip yesterday with Jax, who was the sweetest, most affectionate boy!

And then this from another volunteer field trip: This corndog-loving, tail-wagging goofball got along with everyone he met and did not mind other dogs or small children running around. We spent time soaking up some sun at the park and visited both a local florist shop and brewery, where he was well-behaved. He's great on car rides, patiently sat in the kitchen while we prepared a meal, and crawled into our laps for snuggles and love. Please visit Jax today - he is wonderful!
