Jasper is a 10-month-old male dog with a heart full of love and a playful, gentle spirit. Though deaf and recovering from an eye injury, he doesnt let his challenges slow him down. Initially a bit shy, Jasper quickly warms up and becomes a playful, curious companion. Hes fantastic with other dogs, enjoying gentle play and zooming around once hes comfortable. While hes respectful and cautiously curious with cats, he doesnt have a high prey drive. Though he hasnt met children yet, his sweet, friendly nature suggests hed do well with themthough his occasional puppy mouthiness means kid-proofing for toys might be needed.

Jasper is leash, crate, and potty trained, and he thrives on routine and enrichment to keep his puppy tendencies in check. Hes moderately active, loving tennis balls, chew toys, and enrichment games, but hes equally happy napping most of the day. This gift-giver pup will bring you toys, sticks, or even socks to show his affection. Jasper does wonderfully in his crate, sleeping soundly without any signs of anxiety. His ideal home is patient and understanding of his deafness, with or without another dog, and doesnt require someone to be home all day.
