UPDATED 5/5/23 Hi! I'm Jane! I'm a tricolor female beagle! I'm a very sweet girl! I'm quite gentle! I'm pretty shy at first - until I get to know you. And then I'll love so you much! I need a new home because my owner got sick & was no longer able to keep me. I lived outside in a pen with other dogs. I'm in a foster home now, & I'm doing really well. I'm a real hunter & an escape artist! I like to dash out the door! And, if there is a way to get out of a fenced yard, I will find it! I'm under 25 lbs., & so I can squeeze through really small spaces. If I have a fenced in yard in my new home, then the fence needs to be buried into the ground, & there not be any gaps at the gates. I'm doing really well with housetraining in my foster home. They have a fenced in yard with a doggie door, & so I go outside when I need to. (To be on the safe side, I wear a GPS collar because I'm an escape artist!) However, if I was in a home without a doggie door, then my people would need to learn my signs for when I need to go outside. I'm a very active girl! According to my GPS collar, I'm in the top 1% in terms of activity among all other dogs in my network! I can be crated for 4 or 5 hours, but will pee in the crate if I'm in the crate longer than that. I am already spayed & up-to-date on vaccines! I'm only about 5-7 years old, so I'm pretty young! Please think about making me part of your family!
