Meet Jameson! Jameson is a friendly, energetic, and happy boy who loves a mix of action and relaxation. Whether he’s chasing tennis balls, enjoying a swim, or snoozing under the bed, he’s always ready for fun. Jameson has a knack for destroying any and all toys, but his absolute favourite is a good stick to fetch, especially when swimming. When he’s not in play mode, you can find him curled up right next to his humans on the couch, soaking up all the belly rubs and cuddles he can get.

Jameson is a sweetheart who loves walks in the park and thrives on companionship. He's comfortable with most people after a good sniff and enjoys their pets, although he can be a bit reactive toward certain men. Around other dogs, Jameson is more selective. He can be reactive, barking and pulling on the leash, and has a strong reaction, especially if another dog approaches when he's stationary. With slow and controlled introductions, Jameson has shown he can co-exist with another non-reactive dog, but his preference is for a home where he's the only dog. He is curious about cats and can be excited and barky around them; a slow introduction would be necessary for him to potentially share a home with a cat. While Jameson hasn't had a lot of exposure to children, he doesn't exhibit resource-guarding behavior and is generally good-natured. His ideal home would likely be with older children who understand when he needs his space, as he can get a bit nervous at times.

Jameson is amazing in his crate and is fully house trained. He does not have separation anxiety and settles down comfortably when crated. However, he is still working on his leash manners and reactivity toward other dogs. Clicker training has been helpful in managing his behavior, especially when timed correctly. He tends to pull on the leash, which varies depending on his mood, but he is not overly reactive to cars or skateboards. Occasionally, bicycles might startle him, but it's typically not a big issue.

Jameson's ideal forever home would be one with a predictable routine, plenty of exercise, and a lot of love. He'd thrive in a quiet home with access to outdoor activities like swimming and fetch, where he can burn off his energy. A family that can provide both snuggles and playtime would make him the happiest dog ever.
