Meet James
James is a shy, yet sweet cattle dog mix who came into the shelter after his previous home was not a good fit for him. He is eleven months old, and will need a dog savvy human to help him learn how to be a proper canine citizen. He would be an excellent fit for a canine obedience course! James plays nicely and would do well with a confident older dog to be a mentor and show him the ropes of being a dog. James would not do well in a busy household with young children. He's is learning how to seek affection from people, and gets braver and braver every day. He will sweetly come up and request pets and attention, and in a patient home we believe he will blossom into the confident dog he is meant to be!
