JAKE - smart Border Collie Carlisle, PA

JAKE is a very sweet, intelligent and well behaved, red and white male border collie. He is neutered, utd on shots, microchipped, 4dx negative, dewormed, flea/tick preventative and professionally groomed. Jake is about 7 years old, house trained, rides good in the car, loves being outside watching the horses. Jake knows his basic commands, walks good on leash and very social. Good with other dogs, and cats and kids (NO toddlers). Jake is looking for a loving, peaceful home to enjoy with a physical fenced yard (NO exceptions), and chemical free yard. No city, apartments, or condos. Needs a job like watching horses, etc. Must live within 2 hours of Carlisle, PA. Jake is very attentive and affectionate and need someone to give him attention, play and time. A more rural or country home is best for border collies. He can be adopted as only pet as long as you spend quality time with him. If adding as an additional pet, the herding breeds are best together. A home who has knowledge and love for border collies is best. Jake is a very nice boy who wants love from a human, not someone who thinks they want to be "alpha" vs. a kind owner.
