Good with dogs: yes I love to play with other dogs. In fact I really think I should live with another confident dog. That would help me be stronger too. Right now I am shy and submissive.
Good with cats: yes
Good with kids: I love kids but I have a bad habit of puppy nibbling. I just get so excited. So I think it would be best for me to be in a home with adults only.
Weight: 45 lbs
My Story: I originally came in from a hoarder situation in southern Minnesota with 29 other dogs. My new family did not really have time to spend with me once all the kids went off to school so I came back to Pet Haven. Now I have a great mom and dad but there is something about my dad that freaks me out. All other men are fine. Weird isn't it? So here I am back looking for a new family again. Boy I wish I could land somewhere permanently.
Hobbies: Being a playful boy I love to have other dogs to wrestle with. Trips to the dog park would be grand.
Commands/Tricks: I know a lot of commands and listen well.
Crate / Potty Trained:I am house trained and crate trained. When you leave I can stay in a crate or can have free roam of the house.
Activity Level: Med New situations make me a little nervous but with some patience I come around quickly. Then I can be quite the little
charmer.
Fun things I do: Daily walks around the neighborhood would be so fun. Meeting other dogs for play dates is something I love to do. If I could live with another dog that would be perfect.
Socialization/who I currently live with: I currently live with my foster mom and her teenage son. They have a resident springer. My mom owns Rescue Buddy Boarding so we have lots of dogs over to play with. I love it here but would be thrilled to have a home to call my own forever.
Jake is attending Pet Haven's medium/large dog adoption events and his adoption fee is $300(cash or check only) and includes spay/neuter, heartworm check, current vaccinations, and microchip and registration.
Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 60-mile radius of the Twin Cities area.
