JACK Black and Tan Coonhound Mix Santa Cruz, CA

Meet Jack! -2 year old neutered male hound mix -Previously lived in a home with a family, including children -Enjoys going for walks and adventures with his people -Has gone to playgroup with dogs at the Shelter. One of his dog friends at the Shelter is Roberta! -No history with cats or small animals -Still perfecting house training and is looking for a patient adopter to manage and reward for going potty outdoors -Looking for an adopter with as much wanderlust as he has! Jack loves to go out, sniff and explore. Adopters should anticipate above average mental and physical stimulation paired with appropriate containment (indoors or on a secure collar and leash when outdoors). Now through December 23rd the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is hosting Home for the Holidays. This adoption event reduces the adoption fee for all cats, rabbits and dogs to $50. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locations Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end meet and greets (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
