When new people come to visit, Isa's excitement is infectious, and she might even do some zoomies around the house before settling down for a cozy nap and cuddle session.
Isa prefers to be the center of attention and is looking for a forever home where she will be the only dog. Although she can get overstimulated in new and busy environments, when in the comfort of her home, Isa is a dream companion with impeccable manners. One of Isa's favorite pastimes is cuddling, and she's not picky about space she'll snuggle up close in even the tiniest spots. Isa's journey to being ready to find her forever home hasn't been easy. She came to Forgotten Dogs Rescue as an animal cruelty case and has spent the last year recovering from her rough past. She was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, immune mediated polyarthritis, which is now under control, and her future family will need to be prepared to continue managing this condition and monitor for any flare-ups.
We estimate Isa is about 7 years old, she weighs just over 50 pounds, and is a pit bull type dog.
