Meet Irwin!
Irwin, a five-month-old Australian Shepherd, currently weighs around 20 pounds. This gentle soul loves human companionship just as much as he enjoys playing with other dogs. His expressive eyes have a way of tugging at your heartstrings.

Though he craves attention, Irwin isn't a fan of cuddling. Instead, he loves receiving kisses, belly rubs, and neck scratches. He's a shy boy who thrives on praise and affection, quickly warming up to new people.

Irwin enjoys playing with his favorite toys and foster siblings but also appreciates his alone time to relax. He is potty trained and uses a doggy door to go in and out of his foster family's fenced yard as needed.

Irwin walks well on a leash and enjoys his daily strolls. He is now looking for his perfect forever family. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal, and he would love to have one or two furry siblings.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester
area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in
area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests.
Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in
safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to
the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age
appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped;
and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations.
We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will
receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs
will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told
by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best
we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can
often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
