Roses are red, violets are blue, Iris is a cutiepatooie, and wants to meet you!

Iris came to us from the Carolinas and is excited to find her new home. She is sweet and gentle and oh so cute. In her foster home, she has been great with two affectionate and interactive small human housemates - she is happy to receive their hugs and snuggles, and will even roll over to ask for a belly rub. Iris is house trained, and puts herself to bed in her crate at night. She is working on learning commands, which her great love of treats is helping along.

Iris is still a bit timid and barks at unknown things (people included), but she is all talk and is very nice and friendly once you give her some pets. She just loves to snuggle and be with her people, and really wants to be by your side. Her laid back and chill demeanor is great for a family that doesn't have time to take lots of long walks every day, as she's happy just relaxing and being near the family. She enjoys a good little walk, and is content to just go with the flow.
