DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Iris came to us while pregnant and gave birth to 7 healthy puppies. She was a great mama to them and now she is being pampered in her own foster home! Since she's been in foster, she has made a lot of progress. She currently responds best to being called momma, she is crate trained, on a potty schedule, and is very food motivated. She loves attention and tries to get it at all times. Her absolute favorite things are playing soccer ball in the back yard, meal time, and cuddles. She is currently living with two other dogs and loves to play with them. This beautiful, smart girl is waiting for you to adopt her!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
