MY AGE: approx. DOB 4/29/15 WEIGHT: approx. 11 lbs

MY STORY: Inari has been with us for two and a half months, and it’s hard to believe this sweet girl hasn’t found her forever family yet! She has made significant progress in overcoming the insecurities of her past life; it’s truly remarkable how much she has transformed. I thought maybe we need to reintroduce her!

Physical Appearance: Inari is a delicate 11-pound pup with the softest, fluffiest fur in a charming black and white cow pattern. Her distinctive black circles around her eyes give her an endearing resemblance to Po from Kung Fu Panda!??
Personality & Progress: Inari has made wonderful strides in her socialization. I’m thrilled that she now enjoys being held! ??Though cautious when approached, she no longer runs away or flattens herself. Inari even allows strangers to pick her up and calmly sits on their laps, soaking up the affection.
She is a sweet, gentle, low-maintenance, and low-energy kind of girl.
Mealtime: Inari’s favorite part of the day is mealtime. She gets so excited, with her paws tapping the floor, ears perked up, and a playful growl that says, “Hurry up!” It’s so nice to see her fun, playful side.

Activities & Preferences:
Walks: Inari LOVES her walks! She looks at me with such joy every time we head out. She can handle a long, brisk walk, but she still likes to walk behind us. She does well with a long lead. Inari is a fantastic walking companion—she isn’t a big sniffer, doesn’t bark, and stays focused without getting distracted by other dogs.
Outdoor Time: Inari adores being outside. She is happiest lying in the grass and napping, especially if her buddy Atchee is beside her. Although she’s not interested in "playing" with her toys, she likes moving them around. ??
At the dog park, she loves the freedom to explore and get to know all the good smells. She gets along well with all her new furry friends. Inari rides well in the car, enjoying trips with Atchee in the back seat.
Bath Time: Inari handles bath time like a champ. She waits patiently and then joyfully runs around the house to dry off.

Home Life: Inari enjoys her kennel, using it as a quiet retreat when needed. She never jumps on the furniture. Inari prefers to stay on the floor and find the best corners to hang out. Sometimes, we have to play the game “Where is Ari now?”
Inari is looking for a loving, low-energy home with solid routines where she can feel safe and thrive. She would greatly benefit from having a furry buddy to share her days with.

To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION.

Adopters must be 24 years of age. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.
