Imani Pug Los Alamitos, CA

Imani is a male 3 year old black pug. Imani is an affectionate dog who loves cuddles and being next to his human (cannot emphasize this enough). There is no personal space when it comes to Imani...he is great around other dogs (attempts to be bossy at times but primarily submissive and playful). He LOVES water bottles (primarily chewing the caps off but I think he likes the sound of the crunch also), and is infatuated with blankets and chewing on them.
He loves walks and although he is curious about other dogs, he does tend to mind very well during our walks around the block. Imani like any other Pug is food oriented and loves his the top of his back/butt scratched. Imani has a bit of separation anxiety in terms of ALWAYS wanting to be next to his humans so he would do best with someone who is home a lot more then not. He is not crate trained (he barks and whimpers, but we are attempting to make him happy in his crate with excessive treats) ?. Imani is loyal, affectionate, playful, and a quick learner. Whoever takes this fur baby into their furever home will be blessed beyond measures.

Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please email us before applying to see if the dog you are interested in may be a candidate for long distance adoption. We may consider long distance adoptions for dogs who have been in our rescue for 6 + months with no local candidates.

This pet is altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had a brief temperament evaluation to help us determine what type of a home he/she would thrive in. Please note that we put lots of time and effort to make sure our pets are ready to be someone's perfect pet before they go home.... and to make sure that we will have the best possible match for this pet we do require an : application, interview, adoption fee and in some cases a home check.
