From the owner:
Our family is unfortunately looking to rehome our dog Ida of 4 years, due to recent life changes.
She's a cuddly and energetic 30 pound, 6-year-old mixed breed (pics attached to this email). She is spayed, up-to-date on all shots, and housebroken. She does best with lots of exercise, and is in great health.
She’s good with cats and dogs smaller than her, but is nervous around larger dogs. She is high energy at times, but also loves to just hang and snuggle for hours.
Ida has separation anxiety, and at this time is not able to be home alone. We previously worked with a trainer and Ida was then able to be alone, but working from home for two years has caused a regression. With a new child and some health issues, we don’t have the time to work with her again. For this reason, we are looking for someone with separation anxiety experience.
She can be wary around strangers, leading to a slight fear-aggression, but with a little time, she is fully devoted. She is good with kids, but currently living with a toddler is stressful for her. If someone had the time to work with her, she would grow the confidence she deserves. We really want to give Ida a better life.
