Huxley is the silliest and sweetest puppy you’ll ever meet. If you’re looking for an adventure buddy by day and a cuddle buddy by night, he’s your guy!
He’s always up for a good play session and loves to play with his furfriends, but when the mood is low and you’re ready to relax, he’ll be right there by your side.
Huxley is 5 months old, weighs 20lbs and we believe an Australian Shepherd mix. He loves his foster fursiblings and can’t wait to have one of his own, he will need another dog of similar size and energy in the home as well as a secure/fenced yard, whether sun bathing, playing or showing off how fast he can run, he loves to be outside.
Huxley would do best with an active family, he can definitely keep up on long walks/hikes and likes to explore, his overall energy level is a 8 out of 10.
He has such a loving heart and is very affectionate. Regardless of how much he grows, when he’s ready to relax or take a nap…if you’ll let him, he will cuddle up on your lap. He also adores children but please no children under 8 years old. Huxley is very smart and learns quickly, he is eager to please and with consistency will make a great family dog. He is being fostered with cats but does want to chase as a way to play, so he would need some training to understand their boundaries. Overall Huxley is a very fun, affectionate, smart and playful puppy who needs a loving family willing to guide him to be the best he can be, in return he will fill your home with love and laughter.
