When you first meet Hunter, he shows his genuine feelings right away. He puts his paw up to shake, but then he wraps two of his legs around your arm for a nice hug. Awww, Hunter.

Hunter is a German Shepherd mix with sharp black & brown markings, and he'll probably be in the medium/large range. Hunter is about 11 months old.

Hunter truly is a doll puppy with a lot of love to give. He seems to be really adaptable to whatever is going on around him, and he's a follower/observer type who likes to take in all the information before he makes choices. He is super smart, and he's treat-motivated, so he's already working on sit, down and stay.

Playtime outside is his absolute favorite! He gets his wiggles out and goes exploring the yard. He would be thrilled with a fenced yard for outdoor time. And if you have kiddos, Hunter will play gently with them and tire them out for you...and they'll tire out Hunter in return. WIN-WIN! Hunter would also be a candidate for hanging out at the dog park because he loves playing with other dogs too!

Hunter has the hang of what's expected of him around the house - like the sweetest ornery toddler you know, he occasionally borrows a shoe or picks up a kid's toy, but he drops them as soon as you tell him to. He's just checking how much you're paying attention.

Hunter is house trained, and crate trained. His preferred sleeping arrangement is on his fluffy dog bed near one of his humans - adult or child, take your pick!
