Meet Hunk
Meet Hunk - and yes, he's exactly that: one big, lovable hunk of dog!
This sweet boy was found as a stray and brought to an Emergency Vet clinic. We stepped in and arranged for him to join one of our amazing foster homes to prevent him from being sent to the already overcrowded Memphis Animal Shelter.
He arrived at the Emergency Clinic super thin, so we are starting slow meals to fatten him up and getting him checked for parasites, too. Hunk will soon receive his full vetting, which includes vaccines, X-rays of his legs, a heartworm test, and a thorough checkup.
So far, he's been fantastic with humans and other dogs, but we'll continue assessing him as he settles into his new environment. In the meantime, we're opening his adoption listing now, hoping to find him the perfect forever home as quickly as possible.
Just look at that face! We hope it's one you can't live without.
