Meet Humphrey
Humphrey is a beautiful 3-year-old Wheaten Terrier, who was rescued from an Amish puppy mill. Humphrey is absolute sweetness, very smart, and loves affection. He is starting to become happy and puppy like! He is excellent with the cats and loves to play with the other dog in his foster home. He is 99% potty trained and behaves perfectly when left home free in the house. He is learning a lot and would do best in a home with another dog who will teach him how to be a dog. He is hesitant of young children, and is starting to jump when he gets excited, so a home with older children might be best. Humphrey is great on leash but will put on the brakes if he wants to go another direction. He can be a little stubborn, so his owner will need some patience. He loves his long daily walks, and getting daily exercise will be important for him. He needs to be leashed each time he goes out or will need a fenced in yard. He is a wonderful dog!
