Meet Hudson! -1 year old male pit bull mix -Surrendered to the Shelter after the previous guardian was unable to continue caring for -Hudson had access to indoor/outdoor in his previous home. He may enjoy a home where he has similar access through a doggy door -Lived in a home with three other dogs and did well coexisting with them -Enjoyed going for walks with his previous guardians -Lived with kids as young as 12 years old and did well -Hudson was described as very active loving to run, jump and play -Hudson is observed to have a tactile play style and may do well with a similarly sized, dog savvy dog Now through December 23rd the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is hosting Home for the Holidays. This adoption event reduces the adoption fee for all cats, rabbits and dogs to $50. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locations Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end meet and greets (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
