Meet Huck

Huck is a 7-8 month old mixed breed pup. He and his two siblings were dumped in a neighborhood in Mississippi, where our partner shelter picked them up! Huck was covered in ticks and emaciated, he has now made a full recovery and is excited to make his way north to meet his forever family!

Huck can be really nervous in new situation, he has low confidence and looks for other dogs to learn from. He will need another dog in his forever home who can not only show him the ropes, but also keep him entertained with lots of play time. He can get quite rowdy!

Huck will take some time to warm up to new homes, and will need lots of space to approach new experiences at his own pace. A quiet space to decompress without a lot going on will be vital to his success.
Once he warms up, Huck is a happy, healthy, affectionate boy who loves all things TOYS but also curling up for a movie night with his favorite people.

Huck knows quite a few commands and is working on his leash skills (he gets excited and likes to pull!). He's fully crate trained and currently weighs about 60lbs.
