Huck Great Dane & Rhodesian Ridgeback Mix Shelton, WA

Huck was just hanging around outside a local store, waiting for handouts. A nice woman decided that she just couldn’t just leave him there so she took pity on the boy and took him home. She knew she couldn’t keep this sweet boy but didn’t want him to have to stay on the streets. She contacted us and we were happy to take Huck into our care and find him a good home. Huck is an 8-9 month old Dane/Ridgeback mix. He was suffering from malnutrition, food, and flea related allergies. We have been treating the allergies and he is responding nicely to the treatments. Huck has been neutered, vaccinated, wormed, had his nails trimmed and frontline applied and is ready to find that special home today. Huck is still thin, but he’s gaining weight daily and will soon be the big beautiful dog he is supposed to be. He is a delight to be around and loves every one and everything. He gets along well with other dogs and loves playing with them and his best buddy and kennel mate, Sage, in our play yards. GIVEN HIS PREY DRIVE WE SUGGEST A HOME WITHOUT CATS, AND SINCE HE CHASES AND ATTACKS FARM ANIMALS, WE WANT HIM TO GO TO A FAMILY THAT LIVES IN A SUBURB COMMUNITY WITH A FENCED YARD.
