HOWARD is an adorable guy with a pretty B&W coat! He is 2 years old and he weighs 51 lbs. Howard is fun and very sweet natured! He loves to play with toys! Give this guy a ball and he will show you how well he can play a game of fetch. Howard would also love to cuddle up next to you and keep you company while you watch your favorite show! He is good with dogs, and he has lived with other dogs before. If you’re wanting a fun, snuggly, adventurous guy Howard is the one!
ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).

Can't commit to adoption but still want to help us save lives? Consider fostering by filling out our foster application at https://www.kckpd.org/Animal-Services/Foster-a-Pet. All supplies are provided.
