Meet Honey

Honey is a sweet older gal who loves any person. She was rescued off the streets so she really enjoys being outdoors. We think she'd do best as a ranch dog! She loves to play with other dogs, and is very friendly with new people! She is also a little territorial with other dogs (because she had to fight for resources) but can't coexist with proper management! Honey had a Femoral Head Ostectomy and is currently recovering, she just needs time to fully gain the strength in her leg back, but is projected to fully walk again. She will also need a specific home to accommodate her strange needs ex (being outside all day, walks to potty, hip exercises).

We cannot guarantee how he will act around ALL cats and other dogs, although she seems to be doing really well around other dogs! She really enjoys engaging in play with them!

All of our animals are rescued from high-kill shelters across California or off the streets and given a second chance. We are a smaller rescue that depends on fosters and adopters to rescue more animals. Honey is just one of many dogs that gets abandoned in the streets.
