Holli Rottweiler & Hound Mix Friday Harbor, WA

Meet Holli, the rescue dog with the deep brown eyes and a heart as big as her smile. When she’s not making a splash in whatever water she can get her paws in, she’s busy making new friends and spreading joy and laughter. Holli has a lot of canine companions here at the shelter and lives for playtime!

However, Holli has a tougher time when it comes to meeting new people, especially men, and needs a few slow introductions before she feels comfortable with them. It’s something she’s been working on through and we gotta say she’s made a lot of progress!

Once Holli trusts you, that is where she truly shines. With you as her rock, she feels secure by your side. She can take on the world and do what she loves to do best…Sniffing, exploring, swimming, running, playing, and of course getting lots of cuddles and kisses with you!!!

Holli struggles with some fear but is a completely different dog outside the shelter setting, in her element in nature with those she feels safe with and trusts. That being said, she is looking for a home in a quiet setting with someone who will continue helping her learn the coping skills she needs to navigate her anxiety and to tell her that everything is going to be just fine, because you’ve got her and she has you now.
