Female, Hound/Lab Mix, 1 year old, 45lbs

Holli is the sweetest dog that has a way of melting your heart with her puppy dog eyes and sweet cuddly nature. She was originally on the euthanasia list at a rural Texas shelter. When she was brought into the rescue, she was very scared, but they found when they put her with a buddy in her kennel, she was a totally different dog! We found the same thing to be true!

Holli loves life, loves people, and loves dogs. She is working on her leash skills and building her self-confidence. Holli has made a lot of progress since arriving at our shelter and is looking for someone who can help her further develop her coping skills she needs to deal with her fears and hopefully overcome some of them! She would do great in a home with another friendly dog as well as secured, fenced yard. Because she can be very shy at first, we think a home without young children would be best suited for her.
